Filo Paulo joins Benetton Treviso
Benetton Treviso announced the signing of Filo Paulo in time for next season, arriving from the Cardiff Blues.
The lock and flank, born in Wellington, New Zealand on November 6, 1987, stands at 201 cm and weighs in at 122 kg.
In New Zealand he wore the jersey of North Harbour (35 appearances in the NPC) and Auckland Blues (26 appearances in Super Rugby).
He appeared only twice for Ulster in the Pro12 in 2007.
From 2013 Paulo has been part of the Cardiff Blues squad, racking up 51 caps and crossing the white-wash just once.
In the current season with the Cardiff outfit, he has made just 13 appearances and played a total of 894 minutes in the Pro12.
Paulo made his debut for Cardiff Blues on March 23rd 2013 against Benetton Treviso, at the Monigo stadium, in the 26-17 victory for Benetton Treviso.
Paulo is a physical player that makes his presence felt on the field and in the line-outs, he has 13 international caps for Samoa.
