Leinster pull clear at summit
Leinster led 6-3 at the interval after a nip-and-tuck first period, with Ian Madigan outscoring Jason Tovey by two penalties to one, and Jamie Ritchie seeing yellow after 34 minutes. But the start of the second period saw a flurry of tries, with Edinburgh's Tom Brown crossing in between scores from Luke McGrath and Josh van der Flier.
Mike Allan's interception saw Edinburgh respond, but Fergus McFadden's brilliant double meant the hosts claimed an all-important bonus-point. Sean Kennedy capped off a breathless second half – in which 44 points were scored – to bring Edinburgh back again, and Sam Hidalgo-Clyne's late penalty earned them a losing bonus.
Elsewhere, Ospreys kept their hopes of a top six finish alive thanks to a Dan Evans double earning a bonus-point victory over Benetton Treviso in Swansea. The home side racked up seven tries in total and flyhalf Dan Biggar was successful with six conversions and Treviso's Dean Budd saw red for a swinging arm tackle late in the game.
Evans began the scoring before Dan Baker, Owen Watkin crossed before half-time. Olly Cracknell, Hanno Dirksen scored in the second half before Budd saw red and Evans and Ben John wrapped up the points for Ospreys.

Leinster 30-23 Edinburgh
It was Edinburgh who made a blistering start, as a brilliant collect by Cornell du Preez from the kick-off saw Alasdair Dickinson burst forward before the hosts were pinged. Tovey made no mistake with the third-minute penalty, but Leinster were soon back on level terms as they immediately piled on the pressure inside the Edinburgh 22.
The boys in blue ground their maul forward, and after van der Flier's carry, they were awarded the penalty which Madigan knocked over on eight minutes. Leinster broke again from the kick-off and were in front four minutes later, with Ross Ford the man penalised as Edinburgh again conceded a shot at goal inside the 22.
Madigan chipped through from bang in front of the uprights, and while there were no more points scored in the first period, there was no shortage of entertaining rugby. Edinburgh progressed to the five-metre line after Brown's electrifying break, with du Preez again involved on 16 minutes, but solid defence from Leinster forced the knock-on.
It was end-to-end stuff as both sides attacked but made errors inside the 22, although Edinburgh's Ritchie was sin-binned for repeated team infringements six minutes before the break. Leinster did not have to wait long after the interval to open their try account for the evening, as they broke through the midfield and crossed the whitewash on 44 minutes.
Scrumhalf McGrath was the man to touch down, after a clever lineout move between Mick Kearney and Richardt Strauss took the home side 30 metres down field, and Madigan's conversion made it 13-3.
But Edinburgh were not to be outdone, and responded almost immediately through Brown, who galloped down the sideline to cross in the corner – although the conversion attempt sailed wide from Tovey.
And the scores were coming thick and fast with van der Flier completing a fine Leinster break just two minutes later, Madigan adding the extras, before McFadden got in on the act on 58 minutes with the boys in blue piling on the pressure on the Edinburgh line.
The visitors kept themselves in the contest in the face of the Leinster barrage with Allan picking off a loose pass to score at the other end, but the remarkable second half continued with McFadden going over again just after the hour.
Madigan combined with Ben Te'o and McFadden to send the wing over in the right corner, and despite his conversion sailing wide the lead was now 30-15.
Edinburgh's replacements were making their mark though with Hamish Watson making a series of devastating carries to take his side to the five-metre line, before Kennedy picked the ball off the base of a ruck to squirm over the line for the seventh try of the half.
Damien Hoyland's storming break almost saw the wing go over, but that man McFadden stopped him in his tracks with a huge hit, although the resulting penalty from Sam Hidalgo-Clyne did at least ensure his side did not leave Ireland empty-handed.

Ospreys 47-10 Treviso
The home side were ahead after eight minutes as they worked the play out to the left for Evans to step inside and cut through three missed Treviso tackles and run in from outside the 22, Biggar then added the extras.
Treviso cut the Ospreys lead five minutes later as Jayden Hayward slotted between the posts. The home side extended their lead after 20 minutes as Baker popped out the back of a rolling maul to pile over in the corner for his fifth try of the season and Biggar was again successful with the conversion.
Ospreys were rampant and moments later came close to a third try but Rhys Webb was judged not to have grounded the ball just short of the try line. They soon had a third though as Webb combined with Biggar from the scrum to feed Watkin who drove over from five yards out and Biggar did his duty from the tee.
Shortly before half-time there was a significant delay as Treviso hooker Ornel Gega went down with a head injury when attempting to tackle Dirksen. He was taken from the pitch on a stretcher but gave a thumbs up to teammates and the crowd as he was carried off.
Life got even harder for Treviso early in the second half as Robert Barbieri and Dean Budd were sin-binned within three minutes of each other, reducing the visitors to just 13. They were made to pay too as Cracknell crossed the line for his first ever Ospreys try, clinching the crucial bonus point, with Biggar's boot again successful.
And it got even better for Ospreys as Dirksen touched down for his side's fifth try of the game on 56 minutes, finishing off a fantastic team moved that started in their own half and crossed the width of the field.
Biggar missed the conversion but the home side's lead was now a healthy 30 points. Treviso narrowed that gap after 65 minutes with a set play from their line-out, leading to Alberto Sgarbi crossing from 20 yards out and Sam Christie then converting.
But the Italian's misery was complete with five minutes to play as the returning Budd saw red for a dangerously high tackle and swinging arm. The home side then added insult to injury as Evans bundled over for his second try of the game in the left corner, which Biggar again converted.
And Ospreys scored a final try in the final minute as Biggar's deft kick through was collected by John for a simple finish and another conversion from the flyhalf.
