Pro12 duo face disciplinary hearings

Two players have been cited in the wake of the weekend's Round 10 Pro12 matches.

Teofilo Paulo (Cardiff Blues lock) and Joe Snyman (Scarlets lock) were both cited for striking – under Law 10.4 (a).

It follows an incident early in the second half of the match in Cardiff last Friday – won 21-9 by Cardiff.

Disciplinary hearings for the two players – in addition to the one for Benetton Treviso prop forward, Romulo Acosta , who was red-carded for striking an opponent in the Edinburgh versus Benetton Treviso match also on Friday – will be held this week.

The Pro12 disciplinary officer is also investigating incidents around the mass brawl in the Edinburgh versus Benetton Treviso match in which the fighting spilled off the field of play.
