Bok fullback out for months
INJURY UPDATE: The Springboks will be without one of their fullbacks heading into this year’s Rugby Championship.
Warrick Gelant announced that he will undergo shoulder surgery which will rule him out for a “few months”
Gelant was originally included in the Springboks’ training squad who are currently busy with preparations in Stellenbosch for the next month’s Rugby Championship.
The Rugby Championship kicks-off on Saturday, August 18 when the Wallabies take on reigning champions the All Blacks in Sydney.
The Springboks’ first game is on the same day against Argentina at Kings Park in Durban.
