Bulls edge WP at interprovincial Sevens

The Blue Bulls men defeated Western Province 38-29 in the Final.

The Leopards defeated Eastern Province 29-24 in a sudden-death play-off to win the Plate final after finishing the match 24-all at full time, while SWD won the Bowl Final and Boland won the Shield Final.

The Blue Bulls opened up their campaign with a 19-17 victory against the Pumas Lowveld and then defeated the Falcons 42-0 and the Limpopo Blue Bulls 26-0 to finish the opening day on Friday unbeaten.

This earned them a place in the Cup quarterfinal against Eastern Province, who they defeated 24-14.

They went on to beat hosts, the Pumas, 22-10, in the Cup semifinal to book their place in the Final against Western Province.
