Habana and Brits heading to Glasgow

Springboks Bryan Habana and Schalk Brits have been named in the South African Sevens squad for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

 

Habana made his first senior international appearances as a member of the South African Sevens side in the 2003/04 IRB World Series.

 

Neil Powell has also included Cornal Hendricks, who is set to make his full Springbok debut this weekend.

 

Sevens regulars Frankie Horne, Kyle Brown, Chris Dry, Cecil Afrika, Justin Geduld, Branco du Preez and Seabelo Senatla are also included in the squad.

 

Super Rugby players Cheslin Kolbe (Stormers), who has been electric when given the opportunity in the Sevens format, and Warren Whiteley (Lions), round off the squad.

 

Whiteley made his BlitzBokke debut in 2012.
