Music stars to bring the soundtrack to HSBC SVNS Cape Town

Music is going next level at HSBC SVNS as over 40 artists join the party across the weekend at Cape Town’s DHL Stadium!

DJ ZINHLE, JACK PAROW and SUN-EL MUSICIAN are some of the big names set to get the party pumping on 9 and 10 December 2023.

This year, rugby sevens biggest party will have more than one stage – making it easier to get down with the hottest music stars.

Live music will feature in the stadium bowl, as well as in the festival areas outside of the bowl. South Africa’s very own Queen of the dancefloor DJ ZINHLE will grace the stage with a very special guest appearance on Saturday, 9 December.

DJ Zinhle is an African house DJ who’s held the title of Africa’s number one female DJ for more than four years in a row. She’s been a leading lady in the industry for over 18 years now, releasing musical hits like ‘My Name Is’, ‘Colors’ and her most recent chart toppers, ‘Umlilo’ & ‘Indlovu’.

Jack Parow is more than just a rapper– he’s a poet and a South African Pop Culture Icon.

Parow has rewritten what it means to be Afrikaans. The official ambassador of good times, he fills up the jols; proudly representing South Africa as one of its most recognizable stars and a notable cross-cultural collaborator. He is a keen social observer, colouring his lyrics with relatability.

Jack Parow is also an avid gamer, traveller, creator, creative director, brand ambassador, collaborator.

Sun-El Musician is a South African-based producer from KwaZulu Natal who with humility and grace, steadily carved out a reputation for not only having a magic touch with his unmistakable brand of Afro-House and electronic fusion but also for having a pair of ‘golden ears’.

He has had a hand in identifying, producing and signing some of the most prolific South African writers and voices under his label El-World Music.

Adored by Black Coffee, who is often seen to be playing and sharing his releases, Sun-El Musician’s debut album ‘Africa to the World’ debuted on the top 200 Electronic Albums WorldWide on Apple Music, and earned him over 50 million streams across platforms.

Sun-El Musician has also been nominated for and won numerous SAMA (South African Music Awards) for his hit single Akanamali with Samthing Soweto, Into Ingawe with Ami Faku, and his Africa to the World album. Categories for nomination and wins include Album of the Year, Best Newcomer, Best Dance Album, Collaborations of the Year, Highest Airplay, Best Music Video.
