Australia, who bounced back from their defeat against France with a hard-fought win against Spain, pose a real threat to the SA team's early dominance.

BlitzBoks coach Neil Powell said they are enjoying the victory so far.

However, they know their next game is going to be 'war'.

"We played pretty well, especially against France," Powell said.

"I am pleased with our defensive effort.

"To keep a quality team like them scoreless, tells a lot about our effort.

"We enjoyed the victory, but we know against Australia it will be war".

The South African side are leading Pool B with six points.

France and Australia are next best on four points each – after two games.

The BlitzBoks and Aussies both need a win to advance to the quarterfinals, as France are playing Spain and almost certainly guaranteed the three points (for a win) and a spot in the play-offs.
