Biggar: Wales 'Can still steal the title'
After winning a Six Nations Grand Slam in 2012, they completed back-to-back titles in 2013, but have fallen just short in the intervening years.
A last-gasp loss to England at Principality Stadium in round two – courtesy of Elliot Daly's late try – mean Biggar's side now face an uphill battle to remain in contention for the Championship.
But the Ospreys flyhalf, exceptional in defeat to England, is refusing to give up hope on the Six Nations title, though reiterated the necessity of victory in Edinburgh.
"The next three games are absolute must win if we want a chance at the title," Biggar explained.
"We are fully aware of where we let it slip [against England], but we spoke about a huge amount of positives to take into Scotland.
"If we can replicate what we did for large periods against England, then we have a massive chance of still stealing this title.
"Obviously, we are relying on other results now, but the main thing is the Scotland game. If we don't beat Scotland, then we haven't got a chance."
Vern Cotter's outfit also slipped to defeat against France in round two after upsetting Ireland 27-22 at BT Murrayfield on the opening weekend.
And despite losing instrumental captain Greig Laidlaw and powerful No.8 Josh Strauss, Biggar knows how much weight the fixture holds for Scotland.
"It has turned into a huge game next Saturday, and not just from our point of view. Scotland will see it as that as well – they will probably see it, if they lose they are out of the race as well," the 27-year-old explained.
"Sometimes with our backs against the wall is when we perform better. We have a huge test. Our record (against Scotland) is good, but we have to make sure we do all the basics."
