Cruel blow for Wales

INJURY UPDATE: Wales’ already wobbling campaign suffered another cruel blow on Tuesday.

Josh Adams will play no further part in Wales’ 2020 Six Nations campaign, following an ankle injury sustained in the 23-27 loss to France this past weekend.

He is due to have surgery this week and it is envisaged that he could return in twelve weeks for the latter stages of the Pro14.

The Welsh Rugby Union said in a statement no additional player has been called up to the squad.

Wales are currently picking up the pieces following the round three defeat at home to France, which has put them out of the running to successfully defend the title won last year with a Grand Slam in Warren Gatland’s last year in charge.
