The pair checked into the team hotel with the rest of the group on Sunday and will begin preparations today (Monday), ahead of Scotland's opening fixture against England at Murrayfield on Saturday, February 6.

Meanwhile, Centre Alex Dunbar sustained a mild posterior thigh strain in Glasgow Warriors' 22-5 win over Racing 92 at Rugby Park in the European Champions Cup, and will require ongoing assessment and treatment.

Fellow Warriors centre Mark Bennett continues to make good progress on the shoulder injury he sustained against Racing 92 in Paris earlier this month.
