Priestland makes u-turn on break
The 28-year-old flyhalf is a newcomer at Bath after joining from Scarlets at the end of the 2014/15 season. He has earned 40 caps for his country during the course of his career and made his Six Nations debut in 2011.
A year later, he helped Wales to Six Nations glory and was part of Gatland's World Cup side before he made the choice to take an 18-month sabbatical from the international game. He has now decided to reverse that decision, though Bath head coach Mike Ford still sees the Welshman as crucial to his plans in Bath.
"After reflecting on his decision he has decided that, if selected, he will make himself available. He has only made two starts for us, but he was good for us last Saturday when we beat Worcester Warriors. He will start again this weekend in the game at Newcastle Falcons.
"He has been fantastic in training and it is obvious to everyone that he is a highly experienced and intelligent footballer. Whether or not he plays for Wales in the Six Nations, we hope to keep him at Bath for the full length of his contract and possibly beyond," said Ford.
