Liam Williams and Scott Baldwin have been ruled out of Wales’s Six Nations clash against France this weekend, the Welsh Rugby Union announced on Tuesday.

Fullback Williams was hurt during the 29-17 victory over Italy at the weekend, having scored a superb solo try earlier in the match.

Hooker Baldwin is unavailable for Saturday’s encounter at the Stade de France because of a pectoral muscle issue.

Sam Parry (Ospreys) has been called up to the squad.

Keiran Williams (Ospreys) was released following a groin injury he sustained in the Ospreys’s United Rugby Championship match against Benetton on Saturday, March 4.

Wales, who have won just once in this season’s Six Nations, have lost their past four fixtures against France, and will take on a team in buoyant mood following their 53-10 rout of England at Twickenham.
