Carter takes centre stage in Hong Kong
Carter has been in excellent form for the French side this season in the pivot position, however, it seems Racing 92 head coach Laurent Labit would like to see how he goes in the midfield for this match with France flyhalf Rémi Talès wearing the No.10 jersey.
South African lock Francois van der Merwe will captain the side.
Besides Carter, the 28-man squad travelling to Hong Kong features a number of international stars.
France hooker Dimitri Szarzewski, Springbok flyhalf Johannes Goosen and All Blacks Ben Tameifuna, Chris Masoe and Joe Rokocoko have all been included on the bench.
