Another Cheetah sent home injured

Cheetahs loose forward Jean Cook has been sent home from their Australasian tour with an abdominal muscle injury.

This is the second loose forward the Cheetahs have had to send home, after Springbok Teboho Mohoje injured his groin against the Crusaders in their first game on tour.

Mohoje departed New Zealand last Tuesday after it became clear he would need further treatment.

Cook has been replaced by Carel Greeff of the Griquas.

Greeff joins Tienie Burger, who flew in as cover for Mohoje, as an additional forward option for the Cheetahs who next face the Brumbies in Canberra.
