Brumbies snap up SA halfbacks
South African scrumhalf Conrad Hoffman and flyhalf Lionel Cronje have both signed two-year contracts with the Brumbies.
Former SA Under-20 playmaker Cronje, who has played for Western Province, the Bulls and the Lions in his short career, confirmed the news on Twitter on Monday.
The 24-year-old, who can play both flyhalf and inside centre, is likely to compete with Wallabies duo of Matt Toomua and Christian Lealiifano for a spot in the starting line-up.

Hoffman represented SA U19 in 2006 and also started his career with Western Province before moving to the Sharks in 2011.
The scrumhalf has been plagued by injuries in recent times but has worked his way back to fitness playing for Cape Town club Hamiltons. He also took to Twitter to confirm the news.
