Bulls could get another Bok back for Stormers clash

INJURY UPDATE: The Bulls will be keeping a close eye on one of their Springboks ahead of their Super Rugby Round 11 clash against the Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday.

Lock Jason Jenkins missed the Bulls’ last two games due to injury, but there is a chance he could be available for selection this week.

“Jason Jenkins recovered nicely from his injury,” said Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw. “He is going to start [training] with the team and we will keep a close eye on his progress during the week to make a final decision on his availability later this week.”

Meanwhile, there are a few players that are not quite ready for selection this week but are set to be available for the Bulls’ match against the Waratahs next weekend.

Eli Snyman is one of those players as well as Tim Agaba and Dayan van der Westhuizen.

Ruan Steenkamp has also made good progress after fracturing his maxillary bone.

“He is recovering well and he is also starting selected [training] sessions with the team, so he will be available next week,” Rossouw added.
