Bulls get a host of players back for Chiefs clash

INJURY UPDATE: The Bulls will have a number of players back ahead of their Super Rugby Round Six clash against the Chiefs at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday

Team doctor Herman Rossouw confirmed that loose forward Marco van Staden, wing Travis Ismaiel and lock Eli Snyman have all fully recovered from their injuries and have returned to full team training this week.

Loose forward Ruan Steenkamp, hooker Jaco Visagie and lock Aston Fortuin will all be available for the Chiefs clash as well.

The Bulls’ midfield stocks have also been replenished with the return of Burger Odendaal.

Meanwhile, wing Duncan Matthews and lock RG Snyman will both be on the sidelines for about another two weeks with their respective injuries.

Players on the long-term injury list (more than six weeks) are Lood de Jager, Marco Jansen van Vuren, Marnitz Boshoff and Edgar Marutlulle.
