Cheetahs snap up Kings' wing

The wing was a member of the Border Under-19 team that played in the 2009 U19 Provincial Championship.  

Mapimpi made is provincial cup debut for Border in 2014 against the Sharks XV.

During 2015 season he was a star performer for Border and in their final match against Boland Cavaliers when he scored a hat-trick of tries and took over the kicking duties and slotted three conversions and a penalty in the absence of the regular kicker.

He made his Currie Cup debut for Border against the Griquas in 2014.
