Coleman is a 'general' says Fleck

Dillyn Leyds filled the No.10 jersey in the 30-22 win against the Blues last week due to a spate of injuries in that position.

However, with Coleman now fit, Fleck has opted to move Leyds back to the back three in the No.11 jersey for the clash at Kings Park.

"From an organisational point of view there are various threats that the Sharks pose for us and we feel they got a really strong kicking game and Dillyn is one of our main organisers at the back," said Fleck

"That had a large part to do with it and obviously, Kurt Coleman's return from injury, so it was an obvious choice for us that we have a settled flyhalf back in the flyhalf position."

Fleck is confident Coleman can dominate play against his opposite number Garth April.

"When Kurt had his opportunity last year he played pretty well. He had a great game against the Brumbies, but unfortunately he got injured.

Coleman is a 'general' says Fleck"He has not played much since then, but in terms of his strengths, he is a general. He likes to control the game and he has got a good solid kicking game.

"His communication skills is excellent, so I guess what we are looking at is that general – that he can run the game for us.

"Every time he has come on for us this year he has made an impact. He had a good game against the [Southern] Kings and he made a significant difference in the Sunwolves game where he did a little attacking kick at the end there for us to score.

"There's lots of parts of Kurt's game that we enjoy. The main thing there is that we want a flyhalf who has been around for some time and who can organise things for us and just our general management of the game is important and that us why Kurt is there," Fleck added.

Meanwhile, loose forward Rynhardt Elstadt was not available for selection this week after he suffering a rib injury while playing for Western Province.

Lock Jan de Klerk is also out of action with an ankle injury.
