Elliot set to join 100 club in Suva

The Chiefs host the Crusaders in this highly anticipated Round 15 fixture and it's one for the history books as the first Super Rugby game to ever be played in Fiji.

Twenty-five Chiefs players will travel abroad this Tuesday, with the final 23-man team to front the Crusaders to be named at midday Wednesday. Included in the travelling squad is veteran hooker Hika Elliot who is in line to play his 100th match for the Chiefs if he takes the field on Friday.

With Johan Bardoul and Michael Allardice sustaining season ending injuries in recent weeks, Mitchell Brown (Taranaki) and Jacob Skeen (Waikato) join the squad as replacement players for the Chiefs remaining games. 

Chiefs squad:

Forwards: Kane Hames, Siegfried Fisi’ihoi, Hiroshi Yamashita, Atu Moli, Hika Elliot, Nathan Harris, Dominic Bird, Brodie Retallick, Taleni Seu, Sam Cane, Tom Sanders, Mitchell Brown, Lachlan Boshier, Jacob Skeen.

Backs: Brad Weber, Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Aaron Cruden, Stephen Donald, James Lowe, Toni Pulu, Andrew Horrell, Anton Lienert-Brown, Seta Tamanivalu, Damian McKenzie, Sam McNicol.
