Emery's fate in SANZAAR's hands

Emery is alleged to have contravened Law 10.4 (e); Dangerous Tackling, when he tackled Le Roux in the 12th minute of the Super Rugby encounter at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

Le Roux jumped in the air to catch a kick, after which Emery made contact with the the South Africa international's legs and caused him to land in a dangerous fashion. 

After consultation with the TMO, the referee awarded a red card.

The case is to be considered in the first instance by SANZAAR Duty Judicial Officer, Chris Morris.
