Force under investigation over hotel drama

Wallabies Dane Haylett-Petty and Adam Coleman are in the bad books after being involved in ugly alcohol-fuelled incidents during the Super Rugby team's trip in Bloemfontein.

A vase was reportedly broken after a fight between brothers Dane and Ross Haylett-Petty turned heated, while Coleman had an argument with prop Francois Van Wyk.

Prop Pek Cowan was stripped of the captaincy for Saturday's clash with the Stormers after being among the players to break the 1am team curfew.

The incidents occurred after the Force's 29-30 loss to the Cheetahs.

The Western Force decided not axe any players for this week's match, but that could change once the ARU completes its investigation.

The incidents comes just a month after the ARU formed an alliance with the Force in a bid to save this franchise from going down.

It caps a bad season for the Force, who sit bottom of the Australian conference with just two wins.

Luke Morahan will captain the Force in their game this weekend against Stormers, having recently signed up for another year in the West.
