Frisby enjoying partnership with McIntyre

The pair's slippery movements continue to become more fluid and produced some good plays in their 25-25 draw against the Blues. Their  performance was their most decisive as a combination so far.

"The combination is coming along nicely," Frisby said during a post match interview.

“This is completely different to the National Rugby Championship. We were so disappointed to let the Blues off the hook but that was our best performance together.

"Hopefully we'll keep growing as a combination and reap the rewards at the back end of the season."

Frisby expects the Reds' up coming match against the Waratahs to show case their growth as a duo, especially with the return of several players including flank Liam Gill. He expects the crowd to give the team the necessary boost in motivation to seal the win.

"I was disappointed for the crowd on Saturday after they got right back behind us," he said.

"Hopefully we’ll execute a little better next weekend."
