Hargreaves ready for rampaging Bulls
Former Sharks lock Alister Hargreaves will know all about the Bulls when they travel up to London to take on his Saracens in a pre-season friendly.
The Bulls follow in the footsteps of both the Sharks and Western Province who have played games against the English giants – and lost.
Saracens will play Blue Bulls at Allianz Park on Saturday January 31.

The Sharks used the Saracens as a pre-season fixture for the 2014 Super Rugby season while Western Province travelled to the Allianz after the Currie Cup last year.
Not even the South African national team has been able to overcome the Saracens as the Springboks went down 23-24 in 2009 during a midweek game.
Interestingly, Hargreaves was on the other team that day as he locked down next to Andries Bekker for the Springboks.

The Bulls will be hoping they can break the South African duck against the Saracens, but Hargreaves is well prepared for them.
“The Bulls have long been one of the leading teams in the southern hemisphere, and it will be a great thrill for us players and our supporters to welcome the Pretorian team to Allianz Park – a place that we players are immensely proud of,” he told The South African.
Hargreaves made note of the Bulls traditional strength, their pack, but also said he was looking forward to a tough clash in their backyard.
“They are always an extremely tough team to play against," he continued.

"They are physical and have traditionally produced a very big pack of forwards, and it promises to be a great clash here in north London.
"The last two games at Allianz Park against the Sharks and Western Province have both proved to be great occasions, and as a team we can’t wait to face the Bulls this January.”
The Bulls pack will be strengthened even further with the introduction of Springbok frontrow forwards Trevor Nyakane and Ardriaan Strauss who are bound to get a shot in a Bulls jersey for the first time.
