Herrera to start against Sharks

The Round Seven encounter at Kings Park in Durban will be Herrera's first start of the season.

It is one of two key changes to the team that has lost just once this season – against the Stormers in Round Two.

The other change is the inclusion of start flyhalf Nicolás Sánchez in place of Juan Martin Hernández, with Sanchez returning from his ban for foul play against the Lions in Week Three.

Coach Raúl Pérez has used 32 players so far in the five games.

Only three players have started in all the games – fullback Joaquin Tuculet, centre Jeronimo De La Fuente and flank Tomas Lezana.

From the wider Jaguares squad the players who have not yet featured in any games are Alvarez Fourcade, Ascárate, Freitas, Gigena, Guillemaín, Landajo, Lavanini, Leguizamón, Montero, Pieretto and Tetaz Chaparro.

The Jaguares return to Kings Park in Durban after they lost 15-19 to the Sharks last year.

The teams are joint second in the Africa Two conference, on 18 points – five behind the table-topping Lions, who have a bye this weekend.

It will be the seventh game by the Jaguares on South African soil.

They have won just twice – against the Cheetahs and Kings – while they have lost to the Sharks, Lions, Kings and Stormers.

Jaguares: 15 Joaquin Tuculet, 14 Ramiro Moyano, 13 Matias Orlando, 12 Jeronimo De La Fuente, 11 Bautista Ezcurra, 10 Nicolas Sanchez, 9 Gonzalo Bertranou, 8 Leonardo Senatore, 7 Tomas Lezana, 6 Pablo Matera, 5 Matias Alemanno, 4 Marcos Kremer, 3 Ramiro Herrera, 2 Agustin Creevy (captain), 1 Lucas Noguera.

Replacements: 16 Roberto Tejerizo, 17 Santiago Garcia Botta, 18 Felipe Arregui, 19 Guido Petti, 20 Rodrigo Baez, 21 Felipe Ezcurra, 22 Santiago Gonzales Iglesias, 23 Santiago Cordero.
