Jaguares kicking themselves
The Argentinian side dominated possession in the match, but poor handling and decision making cost them against the team from Cape Town.
"We are angry – we felt that we missed an opportunity," said Botta.
"The positive thing is that the mistakes are ones we can rectify and work. We have to continue on this path and use it to correct our game."
Wing Amorosino echoed Botta's sentiments and believes they were their own worst enemies on Saturday.
"There is a bit of anger in the squad because I think we made the game easy for the Stormers,” said Amorosino.
"We had talked about playing with the ball and being more dynamic, but we did the opposite. We gave away a lot penalties and lost many balls."
Despite their poor performance against the Stormers, Amorosino believes they are on the right track going forward.
"You have to keep believing in our game. We discussed it, and there is no doubt that we are on the right track.
"We are learning game by game. The most important thing is that we have our convictions fastened securely. We must continue working on our game and keep polishing it," Amorosino added.
