Kings suffer late injury blow
The Southern Kings were forced to make a late injury replacement ahead of their Super Rugby encounter with the Bulls in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
Kings Director of Rugby Alan Solomons said star wing Sergeal Petersen has been withdrawn from the team following a groin strain sustained during practice on Thursday.
Following medical advice it was decided to rest him.
Marcello Sampson now comes up from the bench in his place and Vodacom Cup player Scott van Breda has been called up to the bench for his Super Rugby debut.
"Van Breda provides cover at a number of positions and had been playing exceptionally well at Vodacom Cup level," Solomons said.
