Lions get front row boost

Springbok and Springbok-tourist Julian Redelinghuys and Robbie Coetzee has been passed fit and are in contention for selection against the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.

Redelinghuys, who picked up two caps on the year-end tour, sat out the loss to the Hurricanes in Johannesburg after he injured himself while captaining the Lions XV side in a warm-up game against the NWU-Pukke and Leopards.

Coetzee on the other hand has been out of action since November after he was sent home from the Springbok's Northern Hemisphere tour with neck pain that required surgery.

Both front row forwards returned to training this week with the Lions.

The only squad member who is currently unavailable for selection is Luvuyiso Lusaseni, who is expected to be fully recovered over the next several weeks.
