Mo'unga gets a warning

The flyhalf, who will already miss several weeks due to a broken jaw, has been handed a warning for his dangerous tackle on Stormers lock Pieter-Steph du Toit in the 39th minute.

The incident resulted in Du Toit being taken off on a mobile stretcher, while Mo'unga escaped without any on-field punishment.

And upon further review of the match footage, the SANZAAR foul play review committee issued him with just a warning.

The foul play review committee found that the offence did not meet the red card threshold for citings despite the player contravening Law 9.13 – A player must not dangerously tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously.
