Pulu out of play-offs

The Chiefs will be without star scrumhalf Augustine Pulu when they take on the Highlanders in the preliminary Super Rugby play-offs in Dunedin on Saturday.

Pulu Fractured his forearm in the Chiefs' 13-21 loss to the Hurricanes at the weekend.

The scrumhalf has already undergone surgery to assist with the healing process.

He will need eight to 10 weeks to recover, leaving a question mark over his availability for the World Cup – which begins in England on September 18.
