Everitt (51), who has been with the Sharks since 2008, became an assistant coach in 2017 before becoming head coach of the Currie Cup (2019) and Super Rugby (2020) teams

“We are delighted to announce that our much-respected head coach, Sean Everitt, has extended his contract until 2024,” the franchise announced on Twitter.

“This is fantastic news that will ensure continuity in our coaching ranks.”

The news comes a week after the Sharks announced the appointment of highly regarded former BlitzBoks and current head of the Irish Sevens athletic performance, Allan Temple-Jones as their Athletic Performance Manager.
