Sharks continue to bolster squad
TRANSFER NEWS: Sharks have managed to secure the signature of Maties playmaker Jordan Chait ahead of the 2020 Super Rugby season.
Chait, the son of former Western Province flyhalf Anton, is the fourth player to join the Durban side.
Chait had a steller Varsity Cup season with the Maties. He had the challenging task of having to fill the boots of Chris Smith, however, the young flyhalf took up the role with ease and proved to be a vital component in retaining the trophy.
The flyhalf’s transfer comes just a day after it was confirmed that Stormers loose forward Sikhumbuzo Notshe will also join the Durban side.
Sharks already secured the signatures Lions duo Madosh Tambwe and James Venter and are expected to confirm the signings of Ox Nche (Cheetahs), Henco Venter (Cheetahs) and Werner Kok in the coming days.
We would like to introduce Jordan Chait who will be joining the @CellC Sharks family from the start of pre-season.
