Sharks lose Bok scrumhalf

Scrumhalf Louis Schreuder suffered a hamstring injury in his side's 31-14 win over the Bulls in a pre-season match in Polokwane on Saturday.

The Sharks did not a reveal a time frame for his return, but unconfirmed reports say that he will be out of action for a lengthy period.

Armand van der Merwe is the other injury concern from that match in Polokwane. The hooker picked up a "shoulder niggle".

Meanwhile, Sharks head coach Robert du Preez named a 26-man squad for their trip to Hong Kong.

The Durban side will take on French club Racing 92 at the Aberdeen Sports Ground in Hong Kong on Saturday.

The match will be the Sharks' final preparation match before the start of Super Rugby.

The Sharks start their Super Rugby campaign against the Lions at Ellis Park on February 17.
