Sharks out to expose Jaguares' weaknesses
The two teams, who are both on 18 points in Africa Conference One, meet in a crucial clash in Durban on Saturday.
The Sharks are coming off a 29-34 defeat to the Conference leaders the Lions, while the Jaguares will be well rested after enjoying a bye in Round Six.
Argentinian teams are well known for their scrummaging strengths and the Sharks are preparing for an onslaught in that area.
"We are focussing on how we are going to scrum against them," said Du Toit.
"We are aware of the fact that they are a very good side and they have a very good scrummaging pack, so we are definitely going to stick to our processes and what we do well. Through video sessions, we will try and target a few areas and we will make sure that we are prepared to the best of our ability."
The Sharks produced some eye-catching rugby in the loss to the Lions last weekend and Du Toit believes their performance in that match has boosted their confidence ahead of this weekend's clash.
"I think we are doing very well for ourselves. The feeling in the camp is brilliant. Everyone is positive, even after a loss like that.
"We felt that we put in a performance that we can be proud of, but this weekend we want to do the best that we can again and show our fans what we are really made of and what we learnt in the past few months.
"We want to put in a performance that our fans can enjoy," Du Toit added.
Du Toit believes they will qualify for the play-offs this year.
"There is no doubt about it. I think the feeling is that we are definitely worth it.
"We play for each other and we are ready to do it. I think it is our time," he said.
