Sharks to 'man up' for Jaguares clash
Both teams are on 18 points in Africa Conference One, which also features the Lions who lead the way with 23 points.
"They [Jaguares] are really physical…they have been together now for a while and we have to man up to win the game," said Mtembu.
Sharks head coach Robert du Preez believes his team has the strength up front to combat a strong Jaguares pack.
"We got a formidable pack," said Du Preez. "We play with a lot of aggression, but that has got to be within the boundaries.
He added: "I want the guys to really go out and play. I think we are making some good progress, so I don't want the guys to hold back.
"We had great training today [Thursday] and there is such a good spirit in the camp and we got to take that onto the field. The win is really important for us on Saturday and we don't want to disappoint our fans."
High tackles proved costly for the Sharks in their 29-34 loss to the Lions last weekend and Du Preez has called on his team to go low against the Jaguares.
"We really have to be more vigilant on our discipline. We shouldn't be giving away so many penalties.
"We just have to make sure that we keep our tackles lower. You can't touch anything on the shoulders," said Du Preez.
