Struggling Jaguares 'axe' captain Creevy
Captain Agustín Creevy, who has played in almost every minute of their four matches this season, headlines the list of players who will not feature in the opening match against the Blues in North Harbour on Saturday.
Also staying at home are Juan Martín Hernández, Juan Manuel Leguizamón and Joaquín Tuculet.
Pérez, who opted for a 'rotation policy', made nine changes to the side that lost to Stormers in a dour match in Buenos Aires last week.
He will field a host of fringe players against the Blues this week and also the Hurricanes next week.
However, Creevy and company are expected to rejoin the team ahead of their final tour match against the Crusaders on April 15.
For this week's encounter with the Blues Pérez made five changes to the forward pack and four in the backs.
Star prop Ramiro Herrera returns from an ankle injury and combines with highly-rated hooker Julián Montoya and prop Roberto Tejerizo in a new-look front row.
Guido Petti starts in the second row, while Rodrigo Baez comes in at openside flank.
Santiago González Iglesias is given the nod at flyhalf, with and out of sorts Nicolás Sánchez dropping to the bench.
Manuel Montero and Ramiro Moyano will make their Super Rugby debuts on the wing and at fullback respectively.
Emiliano Boffelli takes the remaining spot on the wing as the Jaguares chase a second win of the season.
