WATCH as the Eden Park stadium security teach a pitch invader a BRUTAL lesson.

The pitch invader at the Blues versus Melbourne Rebels Super Rugby Pacific encounter in Auckland, New Zealand, was absolutely flattened.

The shirtless man stormed the field in the second half of the Blues’ 71-28 demolition of the Rebels at Eden Park.

After narrowly evading one of the ground staff and then prancing to taunt the man that missed him, he was tackled into the turf in a brutal fashion by another security guard – prompting loud jeers from the raucous crowd.

It was labelled the ‘hit of the year’ on social media.

The outcome of the incident will certainly make prospective pitch invaders think twice.
