The Australia Cricket team are currently on tour in South Africa and will play their first cricket Test match against the Proteas on March 1-5 in Durban.

Ned Hanigan, who scored the match-winning try against Stormers, was one of the Waratahs who ventured down to watch the cricketers in action.

Despite having the stature of a paceman, the lanky 22-year-old admits taking  to the nets for a stint as a cricketer is not something he wants to do soon.

"I don’t think I’ll be getting in the nets anytime soon," said Hanigan.

"I had a bit of a yarn with the fellas at the nets out the back, it’s good to just come and have a bit of a look about,"

"I watch Test cricket at home, but I can hardly see the ball coming down the pitch – really wouldn't like to face Mitchell Starc [Australia paceman]," he said, adding: "The concentration you must need to train at the highest level and put yourself in that situation… it’s impressive,"
