PREVIEW: Junior World Cup Round Three

The Junior Boks started their campaign with a 59-19 win against Japan before coming unstuck against Argentina in their second game.

The loss to Argentina means they will be entering their encounter against France needing a full house of points, but even that might not be enough to secure a place in the semifinals.

Wales are also in the same position as the Junior Boks. After losing to Ireland in their opening match and then narrowly beating Georgia, Wales could secure a place in the play-offs with a bonus-point win against New Zealand.

However, that could be a hard task as New Zealand will be wanting to get back to winning ways after their loss to Ireland in the last round.

Australia could also still qualify for the knockout stages if they beat England.

The Aussies started their campaign with loss against Scotland before comfortably beating Italy. However, like Wales, they face a hard task in trying to beat the English.

England recorded big wins against Italy and Scotland in their two games so far and will be looking to go into the play-off with some momentum.

Ireland have been the surprise package in this year's tournament. After their remarkable win against New Zealand at the weekend, they will also be wanting to go into the play-offs with a head of steam.

They will be playing against Georgia in their final match and although they are resting a number of key players, they should still have enough in the tank to beat their opponents.
