Bok playmaker goes under knife
INJURY UPDATE: The Stormers could be without the services of one of their star playmakers following a surgical procedure.
Scrumhalf Cobus Reinach will be out of commission after reportedly suffering a groin hernia, according to Netwerk24.
The Stormers and Springbok No.9 posted a picture of himself on social media platforms X and Instagram in a hospital bed, captioned “Quick pit stop. Everything went well! Back in a bit.”

It is unclear how long Reinach will be out of action, but surgery for a groin hernia typically takes four to six weeks to fully heal.
This could rule him out of the Stormers’ fixtures against the Lions and Bulls (away), but he could be back to face the Dragons in Round 13.
