Leinster boss provides update on key players ahead of Glasgow clash
INJURY UPDATE: Leinster head coach Leo Cullen has issued an injury update ahead of Saturday’s United Rugby Championship semifinal against Glasgow Warriors in Dublin.
The Irish giants secured their passage to the last four with a less-than-impressive 33-21 win over Scarlets in their quarterfinal last weekend.
And now they are sweating over Josh van der Flier’s fitness.
The Ireland star will be further assessed this week for a hamstring injury before a final decision will be made on his availability.
The story continues below…
Springbok lock RG Snyman suffered a gash to his head in the win and it seems it was not too serious as his name was not included in Cullen’s injury report.
Meanwhile, Garry Ringrose (calf) and Tommy O’Brien (foot) will also be assessed this week before a final decision will be made on their availability. They were not involved in the quarterfinal.
The good news is that Jordan Larmour has returned to full training after recovering from injury.
There were no further updates on Will Connors, Brian Deeny, Caelan Doris, Tadhg Furlong and Robbie Henshaw.
