Leinster in statement win over Warriors
MATCH REPORT: Leinster made a statement about their intention to end a long trophy drought.
The Irish province and tournament leaders edged Glasgow Warriors 13-5 in a scrappy match in the final round of United Rugby Championship league action.
The teams scored one try each, as Leinster put the seal on finishing first, while Glasgow drops down to fourth place.
With 16 wins from 18 starts, Leinster will host Scarlets in the quarterfinal on May 31..

The home side’s only try came from the excellent Jimmy O’Brien and was followed by eight points from the boots of Sam Prendergast and Ciarán Fralwey.
Jimmy O’Brien scored a first-half try on 26 minutes for Leo Cullen’s side after having one disallowed earlier in the game.
Sam Prendergast’s penalty extended their lead after the break before the visitors hit back through George Horne’s try, but Ciaran Frawley’s late penalty made sure of the win.
