Leinster load some big guns for Stormers raid
INJURY UPDATE: Leinster has been boosted by the return of some big name players ahead of the start of their United Rugby Championship title defence.
The Irish province has arrived in Cape Town for their Round One face-off with the Stormers on Friday.
That is followed by a trip to Pretoria and a rematch of the 2024/25 Final earlier this year, when they face the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld.
Leinster then host the Sharks, Munster and Zebre, before the November international break.
Coach Leo Cullen revealed that Will Connors, Brian Deeny, Jordan Larmour and Robbie Henshaw have all recovered from the injuries that kept them out of the end-of-season run-in last year and are available for selection.
Caelan Doris continues to make good progress as he recovers from a shoulder injury, but is still rehabbing and will not be available for the first few rounds of the URC.
Joe McCarthy had a procedure on a foot injury and will be unavailable for the first few rounds, and Hugo Keenan, who has had a procedure on a groin injury, will be unavailable for up to three months.
