Leinster sweating over Snyman's latest setback

INJURY UPDATE: Leinster head coach Leo Cullen has issued an injury update ahead of their United Rugby Championship Round 16 away clash against Scarlets.

Springbok lock RG Snyman will be further assessed this week after suffering a dead leg against Ulster.

The nature of the injury doesn’t sound too serious, and a final decision on his involvement at Parc y Scarlets will be made later this week.

Snyman has a history with injuries as documented during his stint with rivals Munster and Leinster will be hopeful it’s a minor niggle more than anything else.

Paddy McCarthy and Will Connors have returned to full training this week after their respective injuries, while there are no further updates on Jordan Larmour, Rob Russel and James Ryan.
