After two seasons in the English Premiership with Northampton Saints, the prolific wing is back in the city where he grew up and learned the game.

Skosan represented the Junior Springboks in 2011 and would go on to play in three Super Rugby Finals for the Lions, making his Springbok debut in 2017.

“This is a very exciting time for myself and my family,” said Skosan. “To be part of a Stormers squad that is already doing great things and back in Cape Town.

“I want to make the most of every minute I get in this jersey and do the supporters proud.

“I can’t wait for the new season to get underway.”

Meanwhile, Stormers head coach Dobson said that as both a proven international and someone who grew up supporting the Stormers, Skosan is an ideal recruit for the mission to make Cape Town smile.

“We have all seen Courtnall’s incredible finishing ability over the years and he has a real passion for this region and what it means to represent the Stormers.

“He brings valuable experience and a familiarity with European conditions and teams with him, which all makes him a highly valuable acquisition for us.

“We are looking forward to seeing what he can do in a Stormers jersey,” he said.

On Thursday, the Capetonians confirmed that former London Irish wing Ben Loader has joined them as well.
