Plumtree gives Sharks' No.10 jersey to Bok scrumhalf

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Sharks head coach John Plumtree has unveiled his team for Friday’s United Rugby Championship Round One clash against Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun Stadium.

Springbok scrumhalf Jaden Hendrikse will take on the playmaker role for the match in the absence of the injured duo of his brother Jordan and Siya Masuku.

New signing Marvin Orie will start in the second row alongside Deon Slabbert.

Another Springbok who will be making his URC debut for the Sharks is wing Edwill van der Merwe. He will wear the No.14 jersey.

The Other debutants include loosehead prop Simphiwe Matanzima, scrumhalf Ross Braude and wing Christie Grobbelaar.

The Sharks will also feature an all-Springbok midfield, comprising Lukhanyo Am and Francois Venter.

Vincent Tshituka will lead the team from the No.8 position.
