SA derby moved to 2026

NEWS: The much-awaited Bulls versus Stormers derby in the United Rugby Championship has been moved to March 2026.

The two teams will now face each other on Saturday, March 14.

The fixture list released at the start of the season saw the match scheduled for December 27 at Loftus Versfeld over the Christmas holidays.

The Bulls will have a week’s break over the Festive period after facing the Sharks in Durban on December 19, and will then face the Stormers in Cape Town on January 3.

The last time these two teams met was on March 1 at Loftus Versfeld, and the Bulls came out on top 19-16.

The Lions are set to host the Sharks in Johannesburg on December 27, and a change to this fixture has not been announced.

The Bulls confirmed the date change on their website on Wednesday.
