Sharks give update on Jaden's injury status
INJURY UPDATE: Springbok and Sharks scrumhalf Jaden Hendrikse will be in good nick soon after it was confirmed that he sustained a concussion in the game against the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, and nothing more serious.
The No.9 had been in fine form for the Sharks in recent weeks and seems to be on the Springbok coaches’ radar again following his invitation to the alignment camp that will take place in Cape Town this week.
He left the field in the 26th minute after he stayed down following a tackle that went pear-shaped. He received top-notch medical treatment on the field before he was escorted off the pitch.

The Sharks posted an injury update on their socials confirming that Hendrikse went for precautionary medical scans after he was stretchered off the field.
“We are pleased to confirm that the scans have cleared him of any serious injury.
“Jaden sustained a concussion and will now follow the standard return-to-play protocols under the guidance of our Sharks medical team.”
