Leinster stalwart out of Lions clash as question marks emerge over other stars
SQUAD UPDATE: Leinster head coach Leo Cullen might have a big juggling act on his hands when he selects his matchday squad for their United Rugby Championship Round 17 showdown with the Lions at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
Both teams enter the match with 53 log points. However, the Lions are third and Leinster fourth due to the Johannesburg side’s superior points difference.
Leinster centre Robbie Henshaw has been ruled out of the clash after he was stretched off in the first half of the Champions Cup semifinal win over Toulon following a collision with giant Mikheil Shioshvili.

Star loose forward Josh van der Flier has also “entered the graduated return to play protocols”, but there is a chance he could be available against the Lions.
Tommy O’Brien and Jack Conan are due to be further assessed after picking up injuries against Toulon, and a decision on their availability will be made later in the week.
Meanwhile, Cullen also revealed that Jordan Larmour is back in full training this week while James Lowe and Tadhg Furlong continue their integration into training after recovering from injury, with a decision on their availability to be made later in the week.
There are no further updates on Ryan Baird, Jack Boyle, Paddy McCarthy, RG Snyman, Charlie Tector and Alex Usanov.
